Serenity understands my mother and are always finding ways for her to have a fulfilled life. My mother lost my dad in 2016. A year later the day after my mom's heart attack, she lost her mother, and then three months later lost her sister. When my mom had her paralyzing stroke January 2020 as the world was closing down because of the pandemic, I moved her into an assisted living community that was too big and left her feeling un-cared for.
As someone who lives outside the country, entrusting my brother’s daily care to someone else was a difficult decision. But choosing Serenity Senior Living has proven to be an excellent choice. My brother has been a resident at Serenity for several years now, and during that time, I’ve come to view the staff not just as caregivers—but as extended family.
My father was a resident at Serenity during his final few weeks. His stay there was shorter than we expected but I am very grateful for the compassionate and caring attention he received during his time there. I and my family were frequently unannounced visitors and the personal attention the residents received from each of the care givers at Serenity was notable and much different from the other care facilities we experienced.
This is a wonderful care home. The staff is so welcoming and thoughtful. Each time I have been there, it smells amazing like home cooking. You can tell the team is very professional and loving.
